A twist on the classic D90

Somewhere is Denmark, a super clean 964 rolls around on a very special set of AWC Forged Wheels.

Over the course of a fairly routine email conversation, Nicklas (@964northporsche) described a wheel idea he had in his head. It was based on a D90 wheel but with a twist.

After sharing a 2D cad drawing of one of our D90's, Nicklas came back with a reprofiled face, that incorporated both a concave and convex profile. The yellow is the line Nicklas added to share is idea.

A little clean up and the resulting renders were produced to see if we had captured Nicklas' vision. Not only did we capture his vision, he was so impressed he wanted to see them polished.

Wow, though choice and evidently one that could not be made...so we set about manufacturing both sets for Nicklas. 

It's amazing how much the overall look of the car is changed with a wheel swap.
